It is a mandatory requirement if you plan to study at educational institutions in Quebec, such as universities or colleges, but it is not a visa itself.

In some cases, you also have the option to submit a new application correcting the errors or appeal the decision in court.

The webform is an online form provided by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that allows applicants to submit questions, update information, provide additional documents, or request updates on their ongoing applications. It is used when you need to communicate with IRCC about an immigration or visa file, especially if you cannot access the information through other means. It is a quick and efficient way to send important details directly to the team handling your case.
Change DLI for international students:
You can request a DLI change at any time during the validity of your study permit, provided you have decided to change educational institutions in Canada. It is important to do so before starting at the new school, ensuring that the new institution is on the list of designated learning institutions.
Restoration of status:
Yes, it’s possible to restore your status in Canada if your study, work, or temporary residence permit has expired.
During this period, you can remain in Canada, but you cannot work or study until your restoration is granted.
Extensions of visas:
It is possible to extend your stay in Canada if you are a visitor, student, or worker, provided you submit an application before your current status expires. To do this, you must apply for a visa extension (as a visitor), a study permit, or a work permit, depending on your situation. If you apply for the extension on time, you can remain in Canada under implied status while awaiting a decision from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Change of immigration status:
It is possible to change your immigration status within Canada, provided you meet the specific requirements. For example, you can change from visitor to student or worker, as long as you submit an application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and are eligible for the new status. You must do so before your current status expires and meet the requirements of the new status you wish to obtain.
